Au Pair/Nanny job description

Time: 8am to 7pm - 3 to 5 days per week (variable) Duties: * Walking eldest to and from school, helping with homework and being a friend. (From January 2009 our eldest TWO children will be in school) * Full time care (on working days) of loving 2 year old. This will involve taking him to playgroup, to the park, making meals during the day etc. * Light housekeeping (cooking, cleaning, washing) duties for the children.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

Hi There! We are a young, professional, working family with 3 great kids, and are looking for someone to help us juggle family and work commitments, and to provide loving and fun care and companionship for our kids when we can't be at home. We are looking especially for a Christian nanny (of any denomination) who can start asap. Mum is hoping to change from full-time to part-time work, and our aupair / nanny will have care of the kids from 3 to 5 days most weeks. And you can use the rest of your time to explore Sydney, meet up with friends, or just relax! Our eldest, Seb, is 7 and attends Primary School within walking distance of our home. Your duties would be to walk him too and from school each working day, help him with his homework, and just being a friend to him. From January 2009 our middle child, Piper, will also start school, so your duties will be to get them both ready, walk them both to and from school and help and play with them both in the afternoons. Our baby, Asher is a loving and cuddly 2 year old. Your care of him will involve taking him to playgroup, to the park, on walks to feed the ducks, reading, playing with trucks, doing art and craft and having heaps of fun!! On the days you are not minding the children, you are free! If we need extra time, we will negotiate with you. We would prefer a practicing Catholic, or committed Christian, but are also happy with anyone who is supportive and accepting of our faith. Please get in touch so we can get to know you soon!
