| Dear Family,
I am a young but well traveled American, looking to experience the daily life of an Egyptian family. I have worked with children in various organizations over the years. During 3 consecutive summers, I directed a children's camp in my home town, and was responsible for planning the daily activities and field trips of nearly 60 five- to thirteen-year-olds. Over the past year, I worked with the International Rescue Committee, teaching English to refugee children and preparing them to go to school. I love children of all ages and backgrounds, and while I am not fluent in Egyptian Arabic, I do know a bit, and I am a quick learner. I am fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, and French which I learned living in Argentina, Brazil, and France, respectively.
My goal is to meet the needs of your family and your children. I am organized yet flexible and will do whatever necessary to keep everyone healthy and happy.
I will be studying at the American University in Cairo from January until the end of May 2009. I have not registered yet for classes, and I am willing to work with any schedule.
Hope to hear from you soon!
