Nanny's Message to Families

I am from a family of eight children, and yes, we're all from the same parents:) I am the second oldest and have baby-sat kids since I was legally old enough too. I was homeschooled my entire grade school education, so I spent a large amount of time interacting and teaching my younger siblings. I absolutely love children and enjoy taking care of them. I've baby-sat for numerous families, traveled with families to watch their children, coached several elementary basketball teams, served as a 3rd and 4th grade leader in the AWANA programs, served as a Jr. High Youth group leader in my church, worked this past summer as a counselor for the J.C.C. kids summer camp, directed the homeschool academic Co-op program for F.E.A.S.T., and basically played the roll of a second mommy for all my younger siblings! My parents own a house cleaning service and I've worked there part time. I know how to clean, organize, change diapers, put kids down for a nap, creatively play with children, do light cooking, drive around town for errands, etc. My home life has always been extremely functional with positive relationships. My parents have been married for 25 years. I view children as a gift from God and count it a blessing to be apart of their growing up life!
