Au Pair job description

We're looking for a very flexible individual! My schedule changes each week, but the hours will alternate each week between part time and full time. You'll get plenty of time off with the schedule. The job description includes caring for our son, feeding him, changing diapers, playing for many hours a day, putting him down for a nap, house cleaning, etc. We're looking for someone who will not only be a nanny to our son, but also someone who is able to be a true helper to me and assist us with our very busy schedule. We would like you to speak only in Japanese while caring for the baby and we would also like you help my husband and I with the language barrier. We will do everything we can to make our home comfortable for you to live in. If there is anything we can do to make living in our home easier, please just let us know!!!

Family's Message to Au Pairs

Hello I'm Cassandra, My husband and I are looking for an ambitious, adventurous, responsible Japanese female to assist us as a live in aupair for the next 18 months. We have a 3 month old son who needs care during our work days and we would love to find someone who is willing to help us immerse him in Japanese culture. Because we're currently living in Japan, we would love to have someone who is able to help us with the language barrier associated with living in a foreign country. Ideally, we would like to find an excellent aupair who we can take back to the United States with us in 18 months! We're looking for someone who can be a part of our family, but who's sense of individuality and adventure is strong enough so that they can enjoy going out, giving my family some time to be alone together. Ofcourse, if you're interested in being our aupair while we're in Japan only and would prefer not to go back to the states with us- that's ok too! We truly just want to find the right person for our family. This might be a good situation for someone with family somewhat close by. You can come live with us for now and still see your family and friends whenever you'd like for the next 18 months. Then we'll take you back to the US and teach you about our culture.
