Au Pair/Nanny job description

We are in search of a Live-in Nanny or Live-out. We have two children, ages 2 and 4. We live just outside Boston in a town called Newton. We expect some light housework (children's laundry, clean up play area, children's meals and clean up). For the live-in situation, there would be some cooking for the family (twice a week), as I believe we should each take turns in preparing the evening meals. For Live-in we can provide a private room, bath shared with the children. Will provide a TV with cable, computer with internet connection. You would get 8 paid holidays, 3 personal days and 2 weeks paid vacation (one must be when family takes vacation). But we will work with you on choosing this days. We need someone who has a valid US driver's license, is legal to work in the US, and is OK with cats. We would consider a Live-out situation too, and are willing to pay $13/hour for a live out.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

Dear Au Pair, We live in the town of Newton which is just outside Boston and we are walking distance to the subway (T-Line) that goes directly into the city. Boston is a big city with lots of things to do. You will find many restaurants, movies, art, museums. My husband is a Chiropractor and works from our house and I am a Financial Analyst. Our daughter (4) likes animals, bugs, stickers and puzzles. She will be in preschool 3 days a week. Our son (2) is very easy going, likes cars, trucks, balls and naps. As a family we like to go to parks, go for walks, library, swim, light traveling. Schedule would generally be: 8am to 6pm (M,W), 11 to 7 (T,Thurs) 8am to 5 (Fri). With some flexibility. We are seeking an Au Pair that will be a good influence, and a good role model.
