Au Pair's Message to Families

Hi, my name is Laura, I live in Italy, I will be graduating from Engeneering University in January 2009 and I would like to become an au aupair because I have a dream, live and work in Usa. My father is a pensioner, he worked in a bank of my city. My mother works in a nursery school. I have one brother, his name is Carlo and he is 20 years old. I have been caring for children since I was a little girl. First I started out doing small things, such as watching my brother or my cousins. Then, when I was older, I began babysitting on a near daily basis. I have watched children as young as 1 weeks old and I do not have a problem with changing diapers or feeding babies. I'm Catholic, I love cooking, specially Italian food, I'm willing yo do housework and teach Italian language. I enjoy all kinds of music and I like reading books. I do not smoke, and I don't drink. I like all kind of sports and watching movies. I have many friends and I love to go out and have fun with them. I would love to work as an au pair because I love children. It would be a wonderful experience for both me and the family who accepts me into there home. My English isn't fluently but I learn quickly. I would love to travel and learn about other cultures and languages, as well as teach your child Italian! I would be a big sis for yours children! I can get a tourist or obtain a visa but I have need of a sponsor. I can't work with an aupair agency because i'm 28 years old.
