I am looking for an au pair that can help me care for my two daughters and help me keep up with housework. I am not looking for someone that will do "everything" for me, just someone that can give me a hand, as I am a very involved parent.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

My name is Shannon and and I have recently become a single parent and feel that I could definitely appreciate another adult to give me a hand with my two daughters, ages 5 and 7. We live in a small town in the finger lakes region of Upstate New York, an area with beautiful lakes and wineries and lots of fun places to hike and explore. We like to take lots of road trips... to New York City, the mountains, the beach, etc. I have an extra car for you to use and there it the option to live-in part of the time and live-out part of the time. My parents have an apartment that is just 2 minutes from my house that they only use for a few weeks each year, so it is possible that you could stay there if you feel that you are needing some more personal space and privacy from time to time. I look forward to talking with you and finding out more about each other!
