Nanny's Message to Families

Hi there! Thanks for taking the time and reading me profile. Best of luck to ya'll!!! Ok here a little about me. Im 23y/o from Baltimore, Md. Im one of ten children with a handful of nieces and nephews. I've lived away from home since i was 17 and I LOVE to travel!! I've lived in Cali, FL, VA and of course MD =). I'd like to visit Scotland and Germany since that is my heritage, and one day Im sure I will. Im easy to get along and try to make the best of everything. I love to laugh as im easily amused and im pretty down to earth. I've been a live in nanny for a few families now. Ive had both good and bad experiences. But nothing that I would say i regret. The children I worked with ranged in ages from newborn to teenage. I really enjoy the experience to be a positive role model in a childs life. This is where there becoming who there going to be and to be apart of that, guiding them along the way is priceless. There our future. Ive work 60+hours a week as well as had position with the simple 25-35 hours a week. I'm just really flexible. I do enjoy cooking, and Ive done the deep cleaning to just tidying up. Ive always had laundry to do in all my positions. What I look for most I think is to just be comfortable and have a healthy good experience. I'd much rather be with a family I could have a conversation with about anything from how was your day to the weather, rather then just a hi, bye im here to work attitude. I want to be part of the family I guess you could say. As well as have a few laughs. Hopefully someday I'd love to get involved working with disabled or sick children. I also am in the process of learning sign language and who knows maybe by the time I start i'll be able to sign. Well I hope this gives you a little insight.
