Family's Message to Au Pairs

Dear Aupair We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic personality to replace our current great aupair who will have been with us for 2 years by September 2008. You are flexible (so are we), fun, honest, and patient person who shows initiative and you know how to keep children occupied in a fun way. At the end of the day you feel confident that both you and the children have learned something that will make everyone feel great. You have common sense as well and are ready to take responsibilities. We want you to feel relaxed and at ease in our home and hopefully confident and happy in your new cultural environment. We offer you an open-minded and international environment. Both my husband and I have been exchange student in the US (Ohio and California) back in the 80's and lived in Sydney Australia for 2 years back in the 90's. Also Switzerland and Zurich in particular offers an international environment and is at the center of Europe the gateway to lots of easy travelling. We speak French, German and English at home and so do the kids. We are keen for you to help the children improve their english. If you come with the right expectations (it's all about give and take) and appreciate your independence you can be sure you will enjoy being at "work" in our family but also the travelling opportunities available and that will make your stay with us an unforgettable experience.
