Au Pair's Message to Families

Hi, I first signed up for AuPair because out of all the jobs I have had, nannying and working with children in various fields- ie, tutoring, recreation, arts and crafts, has always been the most enjoyable and rewarding occupation for me. In addition, growing up for a few years overseas has installed within me a deep sense of wonder, and respect for all the many different cultures around the world. Aside from traveling to several different places across the globe, a few of the countries I have lived in are: Taiwan, Germany, and even more recently have spent some time in Ghana doing humanitarian work as an English teacher for a small school in Accra. I come from a big Italian family and they really mean the world to me. I love sports, especially soccer, and think that a strong education is one of the most important things that anyone can give themselves. I am currently majoring in English/Linguistics and plan on furthering my studies in speech pathology. As an experienced tutor in areas such as math, statistics, and English/literacy and comprehension, I would be more than happy to help your child/ren with any homework or additional tutoring they may need. Some of my personal interests are: history, art, computers, and developmental economics. I am ambitious, hard working, and I love to laugh.
