Au Pair/Nanny job description
We are looking for an energetic and loving person to help care for our three children beginning October 2008. Our daughters are almost 7 and 4.5 and our son is 20 months. The job will include at least two full days of care while mom works (possibly three) and then somewhat flexible hours the rest of the week determined by need. Our oldest daughter will be in the second grade in the fall from 8:50 am until 3:00 five days per week and our younger daughter will be in pre-school (gan) five days per week until 1:00pm. Driving the kids to and from school as well as to various activities will be needed. There will be at least one evening of work requested so that we can go out without the kids. There will be no heavy housecleaning required but keeping the house tidy, doing the kids' laundry and helping with daily chores, as any family member would, will be necessary.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies
We are a family of five who relocated to the beautiful Pacific Northwest about five years ago from New York. We love it here and hope you will too! We live ten minutes from downtown Seattle and ten-twenty minutes from the mountains where you can hike, walk, ski and enjoy all the natural beauty of this area. Beaches are also very close by. The weather here in the winter is similar to Israel but the summers are not as hot. If you like to ski, this is the perfect place as there is rarely snow in our immediate area but the mountains are close enough to ski for an afternoon. Our family is American/Israeli. Dad is from Israel, mom from the US. Our daughters are bi-lingual but we would want you to speak Hebrew with them as there is always room for improvement when they are not living in Israel. We are not a religious family but do like to celebrate the holidays and to give the kids a foundation in Judaism and Israeli culture. We are looking for someone who will be comfortable living in our home and who will be an active participant in the care of our children. We have had two Israeli aupairs in the past and hope you will have as good of an experience as they have had.
