| Dear Family, Hello! Here is some information that might be beneficial to you: I am a Christian, children are my passion. I have worked in sales and the restaurant business, however, I realized that I am at my happiest when I am taking care of children. Most recently, I am working as an Early Intervention Specialist, and while that is working with age 0-3, I've just realized that my calling, where I feel I can be the best and where I feel the most at home is being a nanny. I do not mind doing light housekeeping. I can cook and clean for the children. I am experienced. I have full-time newborn - age 5 nanny experience (over the course of 4 years). I have experience as a full time nanny for twin infants, and for a child with special needs. I have previously worked with the Children's Ministry in my church, helped teach 3 and 4 yr old Lifeskills classes, a member of the Big Brother Big Sisters Organization, worked with Peer Assistance and Leadership, etc. I am CPR certified (renewed March 2008).
I come from a loving family, we are very close, and they live in the metroplex, I am married, and my husband is encouraging and supportive, and understands the flexibility that comes with being a nanny for a family. I graduated from UTD in December 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Child Learning and Development and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
I am looking for anywhere from 30-40 hours/week (to explain my 'salary expectation', I am looking for $18.00 an hour). I will provide a lot of love and responsible care to your children. I have a resume with references. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to ask! Thank you. |
