Au Pair's Message to Families

Hey! My name is Anastasia, I'm 18 years old and have just graduated high school, ready to begin the next journey in which life will take me! I love traveling and I have always loved working with kids. I only have 3 years of working with kids outside of my family but don't let that defer you into thinking I do not have much experience. Even though a lot of people may think that babysitting your own family does not count, the amount of time and work doing so is about the same! Ive taken care of baby cousins, sisters, brothers, and just about any one younger than me in the family all my life. Working with kids has always been fun, their perspectives, their joys that can be attained by such small things has always been an experience to witness, and create. I have a CPR and life guarding certification under my belt, and have been life guarding for 3 years, I have also been on a swim team sense I was 9 and have helped coach and teach swimming. I was a Aerospace Scholar my 11th year of school for NASA, United States space agency, and a HOBE leadership finalist for my 10th year. I also have experience in debate, and theater, and JROTC. A leadership group with the same values as the United States Air Force. I aspire to join and serve in the Air Force after completing the first part of my education as an International Business major, and later continue with a law degree to become a military lawyer.
