Nanny's Message to Families

Dear Family, I am the mother of 6 children - ages 23-33, one 13 yr. old daughter whom I homeschool, and 9 grandchildren. I would like to help a family raise their children as I had the privilege of being at home for 10 years with my first 5 children and for 7 years with my youngest. I was born in Dallas and am a 5th generation Texan. I have lived in the Dallas area all of my life, but I have traveled to other countries and have many friends from other countries and cultures, therefore I have learned a bit of some other languages such as Spanish, French, Arabic and Hebrew as a result. I speak "broken" Spanish and I'm rusty on my Sign Language. I love children and have worked as a volunteer in church nurseries and taught children's classes off and on for 40 years. My 13 year old daughter will be with me. She is very quiet and mature for her age, but playfully social and gets along very well with all ages. She adores younger children and babies.
