Nanny's Message to Families

Dear Family, Thank you for your interest in me! I love children and cannot wait to have a family of my own. I would appreciate the opportunity to work with your family. I am a Christian and have been raised by Christian parents. I would love to work with and for a family that holds the same beliefs that I do, although this isn't a must. I am the oldest of five children, and I have eight years of babysitting experience outside of my home. My youngest sibling is 12 years younger than me. I have experience with all ages, from newborns to adolescents. I have stayed with children overnight. Two summers ago, I was a live-in nanny for a family with twin 10 month olds and a 2 1/2 year old. I had to keep their children on a strict schedule. When I am not caring for children, I enjoy photography, crafts, going to dinner with friends, cooking & baking (this is a BIGGIE! I really enjoy them, and I love to bake with children!), spending time with friends and family, and reading. I LOVE to read. I am an Early Childhood Education major. I would love to work with a big family, as I am used to having a lot going on. I am currently working at an after school program as a preschool teacher/counselor, and I love that job, but if the right nannying position came along, I would consider switching.
