Au Pair's Message to Families

(Ready to work through the agency ONLY, since extending my program for a second year). Thank you. Dear Host family, My name is Inna. I am from Ukraine, Kyiv. Let me introduce myself. I’m 24 years old and I got a major in law in Ukraine, I suppose that this specialization helps me a lot to communicate with different people, to understand many things in my life, and of course, to apply my law knowledge everywhere. My second degree is going to be in languages. I am a student of Kyiv Institute of Translators and Interpreters, where I am studying English and Spanish. I am a Libra in zodiac, so maybe that’s why I chose those two different profession, willing to understand other people's points of view, trying to resolve any differences by compromise. My sign is associated with the scales of balance representing the balance that I continually seek in myself and my life. The main reasons of studying foreign languages are that I really like studying and I am sure it will help me to pursue my long dream to travel, to visit different countries and meet people, to get to know their culture and customs from inside. I am fascinated almost by everything, and sometimes it is very difficult to prevent myself just not to begin something new. Being an Au Pair I finished my Spanish classes here in NC, and Business class -HR Management. It was really really interesting and helpful. I like reading, I like doing sports; I finished the musical school and play the guitar perfectly well; I like singing, and dancing, I like the figure skating, and as soon as I have the opportunities and time my family or my friends and I go to a skating rink to spend the most wonderful time. I like to have many many people around, they are absolutely different, and to my opinion, this is a good experience to get in touch with such kind of people, with opposed views and interests, because they can give something new and original. And being a very communicative girl, sociable and outgoing, I am also a good listener, and I am always ready to give a hand to everybody. I like children very much and I always try to realize their views, put myself in their shoes, and tried to do my best. I am sure I can get on well with children. CURRENTLY I AM AN AU PAIR IN NC, I have been here for 8 months and I am taking care of 5 kids!! They all are different, but really nice, very active and interested almost in everything. I am sure that everything depends on your fantasy and invention, because children’s imagination is the best way of the game. I want to achieve independency, and to reach a time of life, when I will be able to give my child all the things needed. Maybe I’d teach children a sport or activity, and would help do their lessons. I’d instill love to knowledge to children, because good knowledge leads to self –confidence, and attracts respect of other people.
