Please note that the job will NOT entail looking after any children, but after an elderly lady, at home. No specialized treatment is to be administered, but presence, housework and cooking are requested.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

Dear au pair, If you can speak some French, and would consider looking after an (easy) elderly lady, this offer might be of interest to you, provided you don't mind living in the country. Indeed, we live in an attractive but countrified area called Le Périgord, in France. Please note that you should preferably be able to speak some basic French already. And unless you already have a visa for that sort of employment in France, we are asking for European nationality in order to facilitate getting a visa. Our project has long been delayed (due to renovation work on the house), but is now due to start around December 2008... Please don't hesitate to contact us for further details.
