Au Pair/Nanny job description

We've found some one and wish you the best in your search... if you are local and looking for a weekend babysitting opportunity, please e-mail as we are no longer members. We are looking for some one loving/active to care for our new born twins, 1 1/2 year, and 4 year old - all boys. She'll definitely have to be energenic. The job will include light clean up after the children and any additional cleaning will be paid for separately. Salary will be negociated dependent on experience and living arrangements. We do have a private bedroom with upstairs bath and sitting room if live in is your choice. We consider this a working foreign/domestic exchange where you will be part of our family. There are a few colleges in the area and we can be somewhat flexible with our daytime schedules. A second langauge to teach our children is excellant. The hours are basically 8 to 5 M-F and we've a childrens recreation room, a arts/crafts room, and serveral outdoor toys too.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

Dear Au Pair We're both full time career and family oriented. Our home is very active besides the new born twins. If you love children, this will be a good place for you. We are not looking for some one to raise our children, just be a part of our family and help out. When we have time off, we prefer to do family activities with our kids. Besides, the four boys you will be responsible for, we've a 12 year old daughter who is pretty responsible for herself and helps out around the house. If you are a live in, the second floor will be shared between the two of you with private bedrooms. As you can guess, we'd like you to be a positive role model for her. As for the house and location, it is has plenty of room for all and is located in a park like neighborhood within the city. We also try to keep it open and friendly for all family/friends to stop over and hang out. When it comes to vacations and benefits, we take a yearly family trip to Disney and you'd be welcome to come along or take the week off. There will be a few other weeks out of the year you can have off to and get paid for too. We can not provide benifits without going thru an agency.
