| Dear Au Pair,
Please help. We are a family of five. We currently have two very energetic boys, Zak (7) and Zane (6), and a currently 24 month old son (Zennan). Both parents work full-time and need some help reducing the confusion in the mornings and with driving the kids to or picking them up from . Mostly, we want to avoid having to send our youngest to a daycare facility just yet, and would like for a nanny to provide him with daily care in or around our home during the week, along with spending some time caring for the older boys at times when they're not at school or involved in an activity. The older boys have a lot of energy and love activities, like coloring, painting, playing with their trains and cars, and playing outside on their bikes. We would be willing to try to arrange a schedule with a nanny and coordinate that schedule with the kids', so that the nanny gets some quiet baby care time, and also gets some wild and crazy time with the two older boys, whereby the baby would be elsewhere. This is all very flexible.
We live in a very upscale community called St. Charles. It is 42 miles west of Chicago. We have plenty of room for a live-in nanny, and would welcome the help of a live-out nanny if the nanny lives nearby. We would be happy to provide the use of a vehicle for any nanny. We are a fun family. Our boys are energetic and love to run around and wrestle with each other. Both are outgoing and love to talk.
We are willing to try and work something out with any nanny that will fit both the nanny's schedule and ours. Our needs are not entirely specific. We only know that we need SOME kind of help. We can work out a schedule with you. We are currently seeking someone that would consider a longer term commitment of at least 4-12 months, beginning sometime in summer of 2009.
Our previous nanny experiences have been great. Most have become a member of our family and has spent many hours doing things with us during their free time. Our family recently completed a vacation to visit our last nanny at her home in Toronto because we'd grown so close to her. We look forward to finding the next nanny who we'll grow to love so much. |
