Dear Family- I would love to start out with telling you a litle bit about who I am. I am a recently married 26 year old from Orlando. My husband has a degree in film so we have decided to make our way out to Los Angeles so he can pursue that field more extensively. We're excited about the move, but we know it will be a big transistion! I'm fairly active. I like to be out in nature. (as long as it's not too hot!) I've also started getting back into reading as well. My husband and I are both into movies and music and the arts. It's a big part our lives. In general I just like to have fun! My husband and I are also Christians. Our faith is very important to us. As for my personality, I'm pretty relaxed and easy going for the most part. That's why I love being a nanny...I get to play all day! =) I like to enjoy life and not take it too seriously. But at the same time, I know when to be serious. I am also very honest and hardworking. When I'm given a task I do it to the best of my abilities. I am very truthful as well. If people ask me a question I will give them a straight answer. I try to let my "yes be my yes" and my "no be my no". I consider myself to be dependable and flexible too. If an unlikely circumstance comes up, I'm not going to freak out. I fairly good at taking things as they come. As for my experience, I have been doing childcare for the past two years. I've had a variety of experiences during that time. The family that I initially started working for had a 2 year old girl at the time. I worked for them part time for about 8 months. They were expecting a child and going through some changes so they didn't need me anymore. ( although I still sit the kids on "date nights" and such!) I then started working fulltime for a family with two little girls. When I started one was 4 months old and the other one was 2 1/2. I also sat for their 1 year old twin cousins ( one boy and one girl)during that time. (my time was evenly split between the two families) I'm going to be watching the two girls until we leave Orlando ( so I'll have sat for them close to 2 years) and the twins started school last fall so I was with them for a full year. I currently work 3 days a week for a family with 5 kids. Their ages are 6, 3, 2, and twin 1 year olds. It can be challenging at times, but I love it. They are such good kids! When I leave I'll have worked for them for about 9 months. In addition to sitting them, I also sit for the 2 girls I mentioned earlier. I sit for them 2 days a week. And I think that about sums it up!
