Au Pair/Nanny job description

****Duties to include: -Care of our son, ( a 4.5 yr old who attends pre-school all year), including -reading, playing with toys, games, art & crafts, , educational games excercises, and outdoor fun & walks. -Keeping order of his room, playroom, family room, clothes, feeding -etc -Household duties: Laundry, light clean-ups, light meals, answering home phone, We will be located in a suburban town (Sherborn, MA) in an estate type setting outside Boston (25- min by car) train accessible-10 minutes to the most incredible shopping/Cinema/restaurant areas. Excellent living quarters to be provided. General: Please be mature and have experience with toddlers. (need 2 recommendations) -Speak English well - -Organized and neat personality Someone who can handle their personal life outside our home in a mature manner and who will be independent in seeking resources and areas of interest in our general community or Boston. Compensation and benefits to be negotiated.

Please include 2 references with tel#'s. Have you traveled before? Been to the US? Let me know when you are able to travel here. Including how quickly you can obtain a VISA. If your already here, great! Tell me about your current working experience. We are looking for a special women for our adorable DS child. We are seeking someone who will enjoy our son through the dedication you bring by caring for him as well as help with the educational process and therapeutic exercises. ABOUT US: We are a busy family, my husband and I both work from home, but are out at appointments most of the time. Our son Paul is 4-1/2, has the sweetest disposition and is easy going. He has Down Syndrome and is developmentally delayed. However his progress is great as he receives Physical Therapy, Occupational therapy, Speech therapy, and developmental tutoring. He is a little peanut only 30 pounds and 37 inches and is not yet walking (its coming soon though) Every day is a joy with him! But, please know there are limited things you can do with him, however their are quite a few alternative things available. We also have 3 grown children 22, 21, & 19 years old. They do not live at home full time but are in for some weekends.(they are in college- all in the Boston area w/ apartment's /or dorm) We have very nice family gatherings. We live right next door to a small lake and like to go to the beach often and also sail. We also have a LARGE 40 ft bus (R.V.) which we like to travel in, and my husband is a race car driver (hobby) so we go to different race tracks in the East/ US.
