Au Pair/Nanny job description

We are seeking full-time care for our babby daughter and 7 and 9 year old boys. The boys attend school, and get home around 3:30. We would have you pick them up. Father runs a business in the home with employees, mother works out of the home, and will be returning home to nurse on the lunch hour. We aren't rich, but we're fun! Some housekeeping. Lots of eye contact with the baby, chatting with her, motor function work, other age appropriate developmental work. Supervision of the boys when they get home, get them rolling on homework, driving to lessons, etc.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

Dear Au Pair / Nanny, We are an early 30s professional couple. We know you likely could make more money elsewhere than we can afford. But if you are looking for a place to have fun (we love games and watching cartoons with our kids) as well as a couple that is seriously invested in their children, than consider us. We enforce what rules we have, starting with respect, and try to give them the ability to grow in directions they show interest in. Their growth and development are of paramount importance to us, and always at the forefront of what we do. Our older son is an outstanding baseball player, and our younger son excels academically. Our daughter is an absolute treat who is very active, intelligent and independant. She also LOVES to clean! We also sponsor the Chess Club at the boy's school, which is a small Christian school We are planning on moving to Anchorage, Alaska at some point in the next few months for Mick to get his graduate degree. This will be for about two years, at which point we will be moving again while he earns his Ph.d. Our oldest son is Native Alaskan, and Mick grew up in Alaska, so this is a nice chance for our family to get in touch with its roots. Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.
