Nanny's Message to Families

Hello, my name is Mariama,I am a 24 years old native french nanny. Let me tell you more about me: I have been working with 3 wonderfull families in westchester since I came in the u.s(about 3 years ago). I came here as an aupair,and I had been so lucky to meet my host family.I work for a single mother who is a really busy lawyer with 2 children David(9) and Lily(12). My job here is way more than a simple nanny.I am really helping her to raised the kids the best way we can.I am helping her to get things organized in the house,(make appointments for any workers we need around the house,like the cable company,the people who make the backyard so beautifull...)I do the shopping,I cook,I even sew sometimes.But mainly,I am here for the kids I work with them,listen to them when they need to talk,of course we play like crazy,I just love them,and I know they love me too. The kids go to a private school wich is about 20 minutes north from where we live, I drive them and pick them up every day,I am an exellent driver and a very good swimmer... I also work part time for a second family with a lovely teenager Margaret(16),her parents go away about 2 weekend a month,so I stay with her when they are not around.We are having so much fun together,we go shopping,we listen to music,I try to help her out with her french,but to be honest she is really good and does not really need me... I am more like a big sister to her,and since she is a only chid,I know she really appreciate to have me around. Alice is the 13 years old child I am "baby sitting" in the third family. I was actually taking care of her for 3 weeks since her parents were in new zeland.I am very organized and responsible,that's one of he reason why they trust me enought to leave me alone with their child for such a long time. Being from europe,I also love to travel,I am easy going and I can adapt to a lots of differents environement. I am college educated and well manered. Anyway,as much as I love my jobs,it is time for me to move on. After 3 year in live in position(I started as an aupair,even if I always have been more than that),my current family is about to move,and I believe it is the good time for a change in my life, that is why I am looking for another live in or live out position starting in august. My ideal position would be to work in manhattan. I have a lots of experience with kids( I have been babysitting since I was 12)and I can say that I am pretty amazing when it comes to hold a house. Being the big sister of 2, Sarah(5 years old) and Eric (2 years old),I also have a lots of experience with young children,todlers,and if you want I can even provide you references from france.
