| We are a devoted, conscientious Boston-area couple with happy, healthy 5-year-old twin boys. We are looking for a woman between 22 and 28 years old to share our home and life and help raise our children. We seek a woman with exceptional academic ability and similar values who loves children.
Melora (mommy) is a bright, shy, thoughtful, book lover. She studied Chinese history and has worked as a paralegal, though she much prefers being a mommy. :) She has also done some local, low-key LGBT activism.
David (daddy) is a Ph.D. computer scientist and ex-musician. Though his job keeps him quite busy, he loves doing simple family things together when he can, such as baking banana bread or building things with the children.
Our children love arts, crafts, reading, building, climbing, playing with toy trains, and helping Mommy or Daddy with whatever we are doing. They also like making up their own songs and stories. They just started swimming lessons and love them. They have not yet started music lessons, but will soon.
PEACE and SOCIAL JUSTICE are very important to us. We have produced and distributed over 10,000 "MAKE JOBS, NOT WAR" bumper stickers, which we make available through our web site. We strongly support human rights and environmental organizations, and clean air (smoke-free) workplaces. We do not watch TV, but we do enjoy family song time almost every evening, and we read to our children every day, though they are also starting to read by themselves. We are health conscious and partially vegetarian (we do eat chicken and fish sometimes), but we are not rigid. We do not smoke or drink, but we do indulge in dark chocolate sometimes. :) We seek a woman who is open minded, has exceptional academic ability and who shares our values.
At present we are most interested in finding someone from Eastern Europe, Western Europe, Mexico, Central America or South America.
We are paid members and reply to all inquiries.
Thanks! David & Melora
P.S. We will want to get to know you by email and probably come to meet you in person before making any decision, since this is a big commitment and we want to ensure that it will be a great experience for all. Thanks!
