Are you looking for an ABOVE AVERAGE British Trained Nanny to assist you in caring for your child /children? If so I am a 52 years YOUNG mother of three grown children all of whom have matriculated and are now at University undertaking various Four Year Degree Courses. I can swim well, have a full unendorsed International Drivers licence, have driven both Manual and Automatic vehicles - small and large, have never smoked and do not drink as such, although I must admit to enjoying the occasional glass of wine. Friends describe me as happy, carefree and independent. I regard myself as having endless patience plus being gentle, caring , honest, trustworthy, energetic,and supportive. Following a divorce and the last of my children departing for university I decided that I would like to once again be actively involved with the care of either children and / or young adults on a full time live in basis. Preferably overseas in a minimum one year position. I am quite happy to participate in all aspects of your childrens care, I have taught countless children to swim proficiently,to ride bikes with caution for their own and others safety and to read / write before commencing pre - school. I am a firm believer in the fact that the provision of one on one tutoring can work wonders with any child, irrespective of the learning environment, be it at school or in the home. To this end I am quite happy to attend foreign language courses with my family's children and am particularly interested in learning either French or Italian as a second language Fortunately I have developed endless patience over the years which will, I believe stand me in good stead when undertaking such a course. Bonding with your children and learning as much from them as they can from me are what I believe makes me an above average candidate for most ' Would Be ' Employers. A fact borne out by my references. I have proven first aid skills following my Registered Nurse training at Gloucester Royal Hospital in the United Kingdom many years ago and am more than capable of dealing with any medical emergency in the home. CBR Clearance can be provided as can appropriate references two of which are to hand. I realize that most families tend to look for Nannies in their late 20's early 30's however those same nannies tend to stay six to twelve months in a position before moving on. If you are looking to provide stability and continuity for your children. I can definitely offer those qualities. Added to which I can cook a reasonable selection of foodstuffs ( happy to learn more !!) paint, like the beach / ocean. I also like to Ice Skate. Having been born and educated in the United Kingdom I hold a British Passport and have, to date, encountered no problems in securing a work permit / drivers licence for my destination country. From an Educational perspective I attended an all Girls facility for both my Primary and High School years and acquired a total of Six Advanced Level Subjects.

I am available as from the 21st of August 2010. Preferably for a long term posting but will look at shorter term positions objectively.

I can forward under separate cover a list of hobbies, interests etc. Suffice to say I read a newspaper daily, have a deep appreciation of both The Arts and Music and consider Museums and Historical monuments etc an intrinsic part of any child's upbringing. Unfortunately in the world we currently inhabit far too much emphasis is, I believe, placed on television sets, DVD recorders and Video machines which has to a large degree inhibited the ART OF CONVERSATION. A crucial aspect in any child's development irrespective of their age / gender. I however enjoy chatting with my families and have found that they in turn invariably reciprocate.
