Au Pair/Nanny job description

This is a position for the school year through May 2010 consisting of 27-30hrs/wk. PLEASE: Requirements for our position- YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. Nanny-Live In or Live-out for active & engaging 6 yr old triplets who are very well mannered; must be energetic with a sense of humor; fluent English and safe lic'd driver; must like small dogs; upscale lifestyle/living. Family has multiple homes (SE FL-primary and Wstrn NY-vacation) and Nanny will travel with Family at request. Nanny will help organize non-school activities, help with homework, prepare meals, and keep things neat and clean. You will have time for school/personal desires. Nanny will ready children for school including breakfast, take children to school, pick children up from school and care for children until parents come home from work. Children are in school from 8:30AM until 3:15PM M-TR and 2:15PM F. Family WILL withhold U.S. employment taxes req'd for this position (Social Security and Medicare taxes).

We are a close and active family. Our children enjoy games, puzzles, reading and the computer, but they similarly love museums, the zoo, their bikes, swimming, alpine skiing, basketball, sports of all kinds, the park, and play dates with friends. The nanny will have a large degree of independence to enrich their lives. The children are students in a school that teaches 1+ years beyond grade and you will help with homework as much as be involved in after school play. You will have use of a family SUV in your care activities with our children. We have multiple residences, take family trips/travel periodically, and you should be prepared to travel with the family as requested from time to time. See our Interview for much more information.
