Au Pair's Message to Families

Hello, Dear family Thanks for giving me some of your time and to read my profile… I am a 25 years old girl who lives in Fortaleza, a beautiful city situated in the Northeast of Brazil. A city known in Brazil as the city of the Sun, because it is summer all year long! Here we have many cultural attractions and amazing places to visit, like: beaches, mountains and small towns in the countryside. Beautiful, beautiful place! I’ve had a great life here with my family and friends, but now I think it is time to live a great new adventure. And as an Au Pair I will have this opportunity, because meeting new people and a new country I’ll be able to learn more about a different culture and work with kids, one thing that I really LOVE to do! :) I’ve been a teacher for almost 6 years; I can say that I DO love my job. I basically teach English (EFL), as well Portuguese and Literature. I live here with my mother and my sister, they are the most important people in my life. I know that I can trust them every time I need. I'd really love to have small siblings and to help and teach them good things for life. My house is always full of friends and their children, and to play and talk to them is a funny adventure to me. For fun there are several things that I really like to do. Some of them are: I love reading (love, love, love!), I love to play sports, I love dancing, creating funny stories to tell just to see my friends laughing (lol… Yes I am goofie sometimes), acting drama plays and singing. I’m the kind of person who is always bringing up new things to do all the time. Your kids will never get bored having me as their Au Pair. :p The host family I would like to join is the one that treats me as a part of their family, and not just as an employee. .. When I have a problem, we can sit and talk, the family that tries to understand me when I need and I am also willing to do the same. I want a family that can smile with me when I am happy, respect me and love me as I am. And, especially the family that can share their lives, their knowledge, their good and not so good moments with me. Because that’s what I’ve received from my family in Brazil and I intend to give to my new family in US. I know it's hard to trust in someone to care of your children but I keep confirming you can really trust me because all I want is to be happy and make people who are surround me happy too. I am a Christian girl who really knows Jesus and the power of God and I am also a Christ follower, so I cannot deny my nature of Him. I consider myself a good person who is always happy and smiling.
