| Dear Father and Mother of a Host Family
The possibility of spending 11 months with You is a true pleasure for me. Let me introduce myself. My name is Ksusha Soloviova. I’ve lived in Skadovsk for pretty much my entire life, though I was born in Genichesk. For the last 4 years I have been living in city Nikolayev. Moving from one town to another was always a great adventure but although I was a bit worried about my future in such a new place I managed to overcome initial problems, I made new friends and learnt how to live in new environment. I love meeting new people and learning all about their backgrounds because I believe everyone has a story. I believe, that now when I am older, I will be able to fit myself to your family in different country. Overall, I think I’m a pretty nice person. I love to have fun and be crazy but I also can appreciate the art of conversation and beauty of just being with people you love. I really look to live life to its fullest. I am ambitious and a big dreamer. I have a lot of ideas for my future! I'm graduating from the University this summer. I am a forth-year student. I'm studying to be a social worker.. I'm patient, responsible and easy get contact with children. I live with my elder sister. We live separate from our mother that’s why I use to do all the house work for myself :wash dishes, clean house, go shopping and cook dinner every day. I like it very much! I'm very careful and easy-going without any bad habits and had much experience of dealing with kids(I was working as a babysitter for more than 2,5 years.. also I was working as a counselor in one of the summer camps). I am participant of a program “Big sisters”. My hobbies are sports(swimming, gymnastics, tennis, dance, cycling, running).I can be a friend for parents and elder sister for kids As excited as I am to be able to meet you I’m also just as nervous about the language barrier between us, however I’m sure it will be fine. I will appreciate it very much if you correct my language errors each time I make them. To be a member of your family means for me to share a part of other children responsibilities and after some time of training I hope to cope with this.
Look forward to see you soon
