Au Pair/Nanny job description

We have 3 super-fun bi-lingual active children, 1 boy age 13 and 2 girls ages 15 & 10. We are looking for an AuPair with experience who is more like a big sister and knows how to turn a rainy day into sunshine and have fun! They will do activities with the children such as talking and listening (lots of that), helping them with their school work, including speaking Spanish with them, helping them practice their piano, viola, bass and bassoon, driving them places locally(school and activities), continuing to teach them manners and to help them grow socially and emotionally. You are tidy, have the ability and experience in organizing children's clothing, toys, time, etc and enjoy life, sports and the outdoors. There is also the need to help with housekeeping and the enjoyment of cooking and good nutrition is a definite. Previous AuPair experience is preferred however not required.

Hello AuPairs, We are a friendly, loving, active, great family who lives in the Alaska wilderness just outside of Anchorage. Our children have been all over the world with us and are really lovable as our past caregivers truly have adore them. We are looking for an "Big Sister" who absolutely adores children and is more of a mother's helper as mom is recovering from cancer and away from the home 2 weeks every month. You have infinite patience, understand things from a child's perspective, and are creative, organized, reliable, tidy and fun. You are also respectful and attentive with children and skilled at resolving conflicts between children in a loving manner. Our children enjoy all outdoor activies including swimming, camping, soccer, football, vollyball, fishing and traveling. It is also very important to us that our AuPair has good relations with not only the children, but also with the parents. We respect our AuPair, treat them well, and want them to feel comfortable with us and be part of our family. Our children are developing their Spanish speeaking skills so it is important that you speak Spanish as well.
