Au Pair's Message to Families

Hello, my dear future family ! My name is Alisa, I live in Ukraine, a small, but very nice town called Gaisyn. So, let me give you some information about myself for we could get acquainted better :). I was born in a small friendly family. My father Grygoriy is a kind-hearted, humorous, but sometimes strict person. My mother Mariya is a faithful, mild, well-bred person, who always taught me & my sister up to be polite, responsible, friendly, kind to everybody and also to have belief in God. My sister Natasha is a very good & kind person, who is much older than I'm, she always helped me to do my home work when I was a pupil. In 2000 I finished school & entered Teachers’ Training College. While studying there I had Training Practice in the kindergarten.I worked with kids aged 3 - 5. Our supervisor often gave us a good example & we achieved good results during the practical training and at College. In 2004 I graduated from College & entered Uman Pedagogical University in the nearest town. The studies seemed very easy and interesting for me, I got to know lots of wonderful things there on my profession and they still help me much in my work now. While studying at the University I also had Training Practice, but this time at school, with children a little bit older - from 7 to 9 years old. I enjoyed my Practice very much. Then I understood that working with kids gave me real pleasure and I had made a right choice :)). In June 2009 I graduated from the University with Bachelor’s Degree and now I work at primary school. I'm an educator there. At my English lessons my children and I learn poems, sing songs, do pronunciation drills with pleasure, act dialogues, play a lot of games in order to improve just learnt material. I am proud of my pupils, they all are so diligent, polite and smart. Looking at them I feel to be worth doing my job! As for my desire to go to Canada, that's my long-term goal. Cause I want to get to know your way of life, customs & traditions of your beautiful Motherland. I know that Canada is the country of immigrants, people of various nationalities go there to make Canada their home. I am sure I will like your country and people who will surround me. I hope to find a nice and easy-going family to spend a couple of years with it. I love kids very much, I promise to be a good caring nanny for your dearest little creatures because that is what I really like and what gives me pleasure! Hope to get your answer very soon.
