Au Pair/Nanny job description

Looking after a very happy and contented 8 month old boy. Duties to include story telling, reading, going for walks, play time, feeding, diaper changes, bathing and washing baby (if needed). Light house work for example putting clothes in the washer / dryer tidying up after baby’s meals etc, keeping baby’s room clean. Helping out if needed around the house or on small errands (ie letting in the guys who deliver shopping on-line etc). Occasionally babysitting so his parents can go out. Baby sleeps through the night, is a fan of two day time naps, is on solids and has is the proud owner of two teeth. His is very healthy and tall for his age range :)

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

Dear Au Pair We are a Portuguese / Irish family and have an adorable (well we think he is) 8 month old (very contented & happy) son. We are currently living in the North of Portugal (where our son goes to a crèche and where we have family) but travel both my husband and I travel a lot with work. Next year (2010) we will be spending several months in Dublin and are looking for an au pair who is open to travelling between Portugal and Ireland with us. Ideally we'd like someone from Northern Portugal (we are based in Vila do Conde). Our ideal Au Pair should be able to speak both Portuguese and English and be available to start date in December / January 2010.
