| Dear family,
Let me start by telling you a little bit about myself. I’m a 25 years old, recent college graduate with a degree in Early Childhood Development. For a little over a year, I have been a live –out nanny for a family in Indiana with 2 little girls and 1 little boy (ages: 1, 2, and 4). Before that, I was a live-in nanny for a family in CT with 2 little girls for almost 3 years (ages: newborn & 2 when I started working). I truly love and enjoy working with kids; I am hoping to one day have my own day care center. I'm a big kid myself and I love laughing and having a good time. I enjoy getting down on the floor, coloring, playing block, dancing, singing songs, or reading a book. I would like to be able to take the kid(s) on trips to local zoos, library, parks, museums, and other local kid activities. I don't think that kids should be in front of the TV all day long, but that they should get out and enjoy the world around them. I like to spend time everyday outside as long as the weather is nice. I don't believe in spanking kids, but I do think that kids need rules. I'm not the best cook in the world, but I wouldn't mind cooking meals for the kid(s) or the whole family. I also don't mind doing some light housekeeping (dishes, putting toys away, taking out the trash, dusting, and the kid(s) laundry.) I’m currently looking for a full time, live- in nanny position (but I will consider live-out for the right position). I have a valid driver’s license and have no problem driving the kid(s) to where they need to go or pick them up, however I do not own my own vehicle. I have reference available upon request. If there is anything else you would like to know about me please feel free to ask. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. |
