Au Pair's Message to Families

Hola Familia! I’m Anna a Danish girl who is looking for a family that needs an au-pair. I have been working as an au-pair in the last 3 month for a Danish family in Madrid. I just finish that job and is now back in Denmark. Im hoping to find a family to work for as soon as posibel! I’m 18 years old and when I’m in Denmark back with my friends I use very much of my time with them. Otherwise I love to do sport, my favorite is soccer, but I have also played a lot of basketball, handball and swimming. So as you can see I love love love to be active! Art is also something that I use my time with. I’m painting and create a lot of things. For me the au-pair jobs are a great way of not only meets new people, but also learn something about another culture than your own. Personally I think traveling is the best way of learning. This year I was supposed to go to school, but I have taken a year of so I can do something els beside School and homework. I have always been traveling a lot with my family. What I hope to get out of the au-pair stay is to learn about another culture than my own, but also find a nice family that I’ll feel good about. The last people that I worked for is almost like a new family for me now, and I really hope that I can find someone that I’ll like as much, and that the family of cause will like me as well. To describe myself I have to say that I’m a very outgoing person, very easy going and dutiful. I understand that when you are working as an au-pair, you are there for the family and to make their everyday easier. I like working with kids and in Denmark I use to work as a nanny to earn some pocket money. Well that was a bit about me. I really hope that you’ll think of me when you are choosing an au-pair.
