looking for an au pair for feb 2010 for our little guy who will be 1 by then. we're looking for someone who can help my child learn through teaching and playing, know how to swim, know cpr, and can drive (car will be provided). light housekeeping and cooking are also preferred! mostly you will be a responsible, gentle, trustworthy, caring but disciplined caregiver. must be ok with friendly cats! like to keep a good schedule but a little spontaneity is good too. must have good sense of humour!

we are a fun, friendly family with one child (so far!) we enjoy travelling, eating, reading, watching tv & movies, swimming, playing with our son. outgoing but also like quiet time. we're usually keeping busy and also own a beef cattle farm 90 minutes north of here, (20 min from big beach) where we often go so husband can help work on the family farm. we hope you can come with us sometimes, but most of the time you'll prob be enjoying your weekends off. we live 40 min from downtown toronto. we will enjoy learning about your culture and hope to enjoy some of your traditions (meals, customs, etc.) we like to keep well organized but are really flexible and easy going as well. hope to meet the perfect match so you can become part of our family!
