| Au Pair/Nanny job description |
| Christian, fun-loving, energetic, creative & dependable help for stay-at-home mum to cope with workload & look after gorgeous new baby & delightful 6yr old. You'll need a genuine interest in our children with a strong desire to actively participate with them on a continuous basis. We need someone who has patience and is creative - our home schooled child has some learning challenges but is keen to learn. We've found by helping him explore his own areas of interest has made learning enjoyable & fun! He is enrolled with Christian Distance Education at present & some activities will include: reading, writing stories, games, maths, working on crafts, cooking, simple science experiments & time on computer. Mum also needs help with family evening meals, child's day-time snacks, laundry (mountains of folding piling up!) dishes & general tidy up. Mum is easy going & appreciates someone who can work independently & is tidy - having initiative & can see what needs to be done.

| Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies |
| Dear Au Pair, we are a family of 5 - Mum and dad, 16 yr old boy, 6 yr old boy & 3 month old baby girl. We are a friendly relaxed household, who love to have fun and laugh. We like to eat wholesome meals, and find a variety ways to keep active and healthy. Christian values and lifestyle are important to us and we often find ourselves in encouraging discussions on faith and relationship with God. If this describes you, then you would enjoy being our au pair. We live in a beautiful city with great atmosphere. Lots of parks, bike/walking tracks, culture, shops and eating places. Also the Gold and Sunshine Coast are so close! All these are yours to explore as the weekends and evenings are to yourself. On some occasions we might ask for your help (if you want) to drive our oldest son (who is on his learner's license) to some social/after school events. Also he is keen to practice his driving if you're game! :o) The family's interests includes being together either having quiet time at home watching movies/playing the wii and sing star on home cinema, bbq's, using our swimming pool OR being out-doors for bbq's and social gatherings, going to church meetings, shopping, visiting new places and parks, having FUN in the great outdoors. (We have a 4w drive - camping (maybe caravans now with bub!, beach driving etc.)
