| Dear Host Family
My name is Svetlana and I am 27 years old. I was born and raised in a big city in Russia, which is located about 1200 kilometres from the Russian capital, Moscow. I am a very positive and outgoing woman. I love to meet new people and make new connections all over the world. I believe every person can tribute with something new in to our lives. I am very enterprising and I'm always close to laughter. At the same time I see myself as responsible and I have no difficulties in leading and to be in charge of something.
I have two lovely nieces, Katja who is almost three years old and Alina, who is 2,5 years old. I spend a lot of time with my nieces and they are definitely my best childcare reference. I have been together with those two girls since their birth and I am the first person my sister thinks about when she needs a baby-sitter or when she just needs an extra hand with the girls. I have done everything between diaper changing to lunch feeding and putting them to bed. Both Katia and Alina loves to go to the park so that is a common thing that we do when I'm with them. We have also done things like gone to the public swimming pool and gone to the animal park. But usually I am home with the girls and just playing with them. I like to eat tasty and healthy food, as well as I can cook really good. And I can cook for not only tasty Russian cuisine but also different European meals. Im not afraid of doing different kinds of house works as cleaning or washing clothies, as well as I can take care of your dog or a cat. I have also experience of children in groups. My experience with many children was when I did a three month volunteering during three years at a summer children forest camp. I got to see how it was to work as a teacher and I really loved it. I did the normal assignments as an teacher, for example reading books for the children, helping them during lunchand dinner time, playing with them, doing puzzles, doing morning exercises, making theater?s plays, learning songs, going to the riverside and swimming, and different games. Most important for me was that I became someone the children could trust and talk to. Every evening we had talk time near the fireplace or in our room where chilren could share theirs thoughts, emotions and dreams. We had disscuss the past days and were planning tomorrow, anylised what we had did today good and wrong at the same time. The best experience I got through my summer camp time at the country side was that I got to learn how to take care of both toddlers and children who soon was about to start school, and those who are already pupils. The reason I want to be an au pair is that Im very interested to learning cultures and lifestyle in different countries. Im very outgoing person, and its not a big deal for me to go anywhere with the kids and family, for example, it you go to have your holiday out of city or even it you would like to go to another country. I can help with the children time, so that the parents can have their time together. And of course, I will take care of children in the evening when parents are going out.
I am looking for a friendly family who is outgoing and willing to give their au pair a place as one in the family. Now Im visiting my friends in Denmark, so I hope that its a big plus for us to be able to meet. I can start being your au pair as soonn as you need it.
