Au Pair/Nanny job description

Hi, my name is Emma and we are currently looking for a new Nanny. We are after someone very genuine, and honest. We are after someone Mon- Fri, to live in. Our job hours vary weekly. Because of the hours we work, we would need someone who is able to cook tea some nights. We are usually very clean organised people and would need someone who is organised, clean and self motivated. We do have a cleaner come in, however some basic housework would be required. Including making childrens beds, vaccuming main living area daily and keeping the kitchen clean. The daily routine cleaning would only be required on the actual days I work. Some weeks I may work 5 days, and at ther times I may not work for for the whole week. On average I work about 2 days a week. When our Nanny is not required to work they would have free time to do as they please. We are really after someone we can treat as a live in friend who is there to help out when needed.

Family's Message to Au Pairs and Nannies

A little about us, we live in the country, 20 minutes from Ballarat. We have 2 children. Patrick is two, and full of beans. He is not toilet trained yet, but we are trying. He loves the outdoors and he's favourite hobbies include making rum balls from his playdough, and playing in the dirt. He has a pet foxy pup called Bobby and two pet ferrets. He is very high spirited and loves any activity outdoors. Hannah is one, and completely different to Paddy, she loves routine, cuddles and story time. At times she can be hard work and likes to let you know when her expectation of attenetion hasn't been met. lol . She has just started walking which seems to of eased her frustrations of not being able to keep up with her big brother. An important criteria that our nanny would need to meet is diet. We are not over the top but we do like to eat healthy most of the time. Most meals at our house are very plain, consisting of meat and three veg, although I am a sucker for pasta and risotto. We try to eat alot of friut and salads and would prefer someone who eats and cooks healthy foods. Our wage is negotiable however we are looking to pay cash. Thanks Emma
