Au Pair job description

Our Aupair will be required to help with the 3 children in their everday activities. Sometimes she will need to drive the kids to and from school (which is only 10 minutes away). Our Aupair will also be required to help with light housework such as laundry and basic tidying up around the house. Weekend work and babysitting will only be needed occasionally and we would request it ahead of time.

Family's Message to Au Pairs

Dear Aupair We have 3 children and live in a small town called Muriwai Beach, about 40 mins drive west of Auckland city, NZ. Our children are Jasmine (7), Daniel (5) and Benjamin (1). Jasmine has special needs. She is physically able to look after herself, but has the intellectual development, in some areas, of a 3-4 year old. She needs a very patient and understanding person to help her and build her trust. SHe has a great personality and is a happy, fun-loving child. Daniel is a typical 5 year old boy, with loads of energy and an enquiring mind. Ben is walking now and is a real cutey. Both Jasmine and Daniel are at school during the day until 3pm and Ben is currently at home full time. Muriwai beach is one of the black sand beaches along Auckland's West Coast. It is a real summer hot spot, offering loads of activities from surfing to hiking. As a family we are very active and particularly love watersports. We also spend time sailing around Auckland. The nearest shopping complex is 10kms and the nearest large shopping centre is about 25kms away. Public trasnsport is very erratic, but I am happy for you to borrow my car if need be. We are looking for an aupair who can join our family and who wants to participate in outdoor activities with us and the kids.
