We are a friendly family living in a pleasant area of South London. My mother-in-law is 86.
attending to her needs: Helping her organise her breakfast, and possibly preparing an evening meal. Also in the evenings at 8:00 pm she needs to be put to bed and given her medication.
The total hours required per week are 39. This works out at 6.5 hours per day distributed during the day between 8:30 AM to 9:30 PM
There is pleasant accommodation included with the position as well as all food.


walking is a bit of an issue, therefore you will need to be strong enough to keep her from falling and be able to get her up from bed. As she deteriorates we may need to use a hoist.
This is more than a companion role. We have other domestic duties we would want you to attend to when my mother-in-law does not require attention. We have had an applicant who wanted to sit around all day on the sofa. That is definitely not what we want.
All hours and pay rates are negotiable so let's have a chat! We have in mind a salary of £1000 per month including all your food and accommodation.
