I have worked in many areas of the care industry from the elderly to children and adults with learning difficulties. I worked as a senior care worker for the BNA in Oxford for a number of years for both private , social service, private nursing homes, and home care. I have worked alone and as part of a team and am equally happy in either.
I have worked as an assistant house parent in Eire for a charitable organisation for adults with learning disabilities both in house and out in the community before moving here 16 years ago. I find this work very rewarding as every day is different as I really enjoy aiding people to live full enriched and active lives as much as is possible. This adds to quality of life and this is in my view an important factor.
In summer 2012 I completed an TFL course to teach English as a foreign language in a recognised tourism university and passed with a good grade.
I am a mother.
MY child has flown the nest and I am available for part /full time employment.
