| I would like to warn potential families about attitude this au-pair has towards working. We had agreed on job, hours, salary before she come to work for us - plus everything was as well on my profile in the interview page . I was very unhappy with her personality and attitude she was showing and I had to let her go after last 3 weeks (all together she stayed 2 months) She is not the person claiming to be - she is very snappy on anything you tell her to do, raises her voice constantly, is rude and sturdy when talking to me - surprisingly not to my husband.. She was looking after my daughter and our puppy but was not doing good job, constantly ignoring whatever I asked her to do - but whenever I told her something over again i.e. change nappy or wash daughter sheets , keep dogs water bowl full ...she just was rude and talked back, even shouted. Constantly with an angry face and showing a huge and even angry attitude towards me. Plus she made a big scene that aupair should only for 5 hours a day for 100 pounds a week - this is not what we agreed on and what we want from aupair.
There is even lack of manners, not thanking for anything, not appreciating being taken out to restaurants, pubs, trips, eating like a ,builder, ... Definitely not the smiley girl she seems to be on the photos.
I think that she is be unsuitable for an aupair job - and definitely not taking a woman to be her boss. She definitely does not enjoy doing this kind of job. Her age shows and I remember when I asked her about Germand kids she was looking after I should have seen a warning signals when she replies that they were nightmare (and she also stayed there short time) I wonder why.
Potential families should be aware of her angry, constant behavior towards employers - with kids (my is 21 months) she got on fine. |
