| April is not honest and completely unreliable.
We invited her and her boyfriend out to our house to meet the family and discuss the job. The both seemed happy with the arrangement and April said, “Sign me up.”
We were traveling for a for days and April was to arrive the next weekend to start on Monday morning. A few hours before she was scheduled to arrive she sent an email with a likely story about how she was required to emergency babysit for her little brothers. This was very inconvenient for us, but we were sympathetic to her story and we agreed that she could start a week later.
Despite a few attempts to contact her, we did not hear from her all week. Then, again, mere hours before she is scheduled to arrive to start work we received an email saying that she had found another job. For two weeks she led us to believe that we had an agreement and that we could count on her and then she dropped us and the last minute with no warning and for no good reason.
We can only say that we are glad we are not counting on her to look after our house and our children. |
