I purchased the first reasonable priced one in 4 days. The night before she was to come she sent an e-mail claiming illness for weeks&was clling her trip. Asking a Dr's note might be sent stating she was ill and could not fly sept 3 as planned..so that I could petition for a refund of a very expensive ticket she of course said " I need to take care of a lot of things at the moment".... so either she is not to ill or not remorseful in the least or both....so this childish girl did me a favor buy not coming but at great expense and prevented a great many others who were interested to pursue this position as she had taken it "for sure"..... be warned.... dont pay for anything till she arrives! ... apparently I am not the first to be scammed... I found out she was once in USA to au pair for 2 days and once for 2 weeks! Comment   >> Posted: Sep 20 '07 by caroline in California, United States We had also paid round trip tickets (at her insisting) for her to come (asap)so I had purchased the initial flight for Sept. 5, '07, and she then informed me she was in a medical facility for an eating disorder and could no longer come. I am out all the $ for the flights, and it has caused alot of stress on our part. It was after we had accepted her, and we requested a background check that she stopped communicating, and finally let us know her "dilemna".
