| During my stay with this man he made inappropriate advances towards me, upon his insistance, a massage led to him trying to put his hand inside my underwear. When we were out in public he asked that I not tell anyone I worked for him but perhaps instead I might like to tell them I was his girlfriend! After tripping over my suitcases by my bed during the night, I asked why he was in my room while I was sleeping and he said he'd come to check on me (?!), he even asked me to please move them as they were "in the way". I was also asked not to close my door at night. He yelled at me in a crowded restaurant because I was not at the table when the food arrived and told me the reason I had a job was because he didn't like to eat alone. Fearful of his temper I left while he was away on a business trip. I was only there a little over a week and these are just some instances of his inappropriate behaviour.
Perhaps my naivety was partly to blame, I took the job that was described to me as "tidying the home office and preparing lunch" for him, his secretary and assistant (whom I was not allowed to socialise with as he liked to keep work and home life seperate). He spoke with my parents and assured them that he would treat me like one of his daughters. After speaking with his assistant, she informed me that I was the the third girl to leave during her time working there (only 2 months!)
I posted a warning on a similiar site to this one where I had found the job and began receiving emails from girls who had been there prior to myself.
Below is a reply to my first post upon leaving (December 2003):
(start quote) "Hello *******, I am using an alias on this site, but I am so happy finally someone has said something about this sick bastard. I worked for him for two dreadful weeks. He came into my bedroom in the middle of the night and tried to climb into my bed while I was sleeping. I awoke to find the s.o.b trying to take off my clothes! I shoved him off the bed and screamed. I can't begin to describe the hell he put me through. But I am so glad you came forward. I was going to do something but he threatened to contact the police and tell them that I was stealing from him. I packed my stuff up in about 10 minutes, grabbed my passport and ran like hell...
I still get nightmares from time to time. " (that was a quote from an email i received)
I use these sites regularly to source work and I still come across his profile, I post warnings as I am very concerned for any young girl who may be fooled into working for this man.
Be safe. |
