She and Yigit the son would be in America until late April so didnt need a nanny until then. Over several email conversations as well as 2-3 skype video conversations we agreed on the length of contract, salary etc. THis was all confirmed by February 27 and I should start on April 19. I made arrangements to finish work and move to Turkey. I was to buy my own flights to Turkey but Ramazan would buy the ticket from Istanbul to Antalya. Mid March they changed the dates over a skype conversation to start between May1-5 as they wanted to have a family holiday before I started. On March 23 Ramazan acknowledged I would arrive in Istanbul April 27, as I would visit freinds for a few days before starting. He would arrange the ticket from there to Antalya when they wanted me to start. Just prior to leaving NZ Ramazan called me on my NZ mobile and repeated all the dates and said he would organise the ticket to Antalya he would arrange my rooms etc and was about to go to USA to meet his wife and child and they would have their holiday and see me in Antalya. From that phone call I heard nothing until I arrived in Istanbul. I sent a couple of emails while I was in transit just to check everything was OK. No reply. Anyway, basic thing being that we organised terms of work- salary, my holiday in August, dates to start (which were altered later by them) over 2-3 months worth of internet and phone conversations. Now I am here in Turkey paid for by myself as agreed and they first lied to me and now refuse to even talk to me. Now they say they don't need anyone for 2 months and the only time I cannot take a holiday is in August. Completely opposite of our previous agreements. Leaving me stuck with a rather large whole in my pocket and no job or home to go to.
