I was employed under a week before quitting. The baby is colicy and extremely sensitive to allergens and sound (no sound or cooking is allowed AT ALL and in ANY part of the home while he's sleeping), requiring a great deal of care and sacrifice. The mother is unreasonably controlling, to the point of telling her nanny when to shower, and takes severe action to maintain a strict schedule following the Baby Wise method, including pouring rice cereal into the baby's mouth while he's laying down and screaming - not giving him a chance to breathe - because he was 5 minutes late to start eating. The baby deserves special care. During the interview, they seemed very friendly, kind and claimed to be a laid-back household. I was shown none of the above mentioned problems until after moving in. I am writing this as a warning to all future potential mother's helpers (you will not be a nanny as the mother will not entrust any feeding/changing/etc duties to you). Be wary.
