She invited me into her home along with another nanny (because I go to school at night and she said that she would occasionally need someone at night) She didn't talk about pay at all to the both of us (nannies) we had to bring it up after 2 weeks. We both started the same day. We both worked for her and she paid us for the first week of service after two weeks with a check. The other nanny took her check and got it cashed right away. I haven't ever had a problem like this so I didn't know to cash the check ASAP. I waited a week not knowing there was a problem and looked at my bank account and sure enough her check had bounced. I did a little research and it turns out that she still owes her last nanny over $2000. I told Angie about the problem and she said that she would get back with me after she called the bank. She called back with this big story of someone taking her account numbers and using them in NC and TX and putting her in debt. After I told her that I I needed all my money that she owed me by the end of the week and I would give her her house key back she asked if I could continue to work until the end of that week. I told her no. She called the other nanny and told her that I left her "high and dry" and she need the other nanny to fill in for me and she told the other nanny some lies about me. She didn't expect that we would talk to each other and continues to leave messages telling lies. She is far past due on her bills. She gets bill collector calls one every hour, and final notices in the mail daily.
