| Crusenberry family, an American family from Dallas, Texas relocated to Nigeria as Michael Crusenberry is working with Shell BP Nigeria, responded to me direct to my e-mail add when I included the Crusenberry to my hotlist. He asked for my referees for him to contact. After a day he sent me a contract letter to sign as indication that I am accepting the job offer. Then he asked me to contact a travel agency which he said will arrange my travel document to Nigeria, this where he paid my visa and plane ticket. The travel agency is named Tour de Afrique at Port Harcourt. I contacted the agency and they asked me to pay $490. for the expatriate permit which Michael Crusenberry confirmed that I need to pay as a requisite, which I paid through western union with John Iroabuchi as the recipient (alleged Tour de Afrique representative). After posting the payment they said my documents will be couriered through DHL, however after that I received again a correspondence that my documents were hold by the Department of External Affairs, Nigeria as I need to pay/deposit $375. as cash bond for foreign worker to assure the Nigerian Government that I will not engage in terrorism. Again this has been confirmed by Michael Crusenberry, therefore I again posted the amount through western union to same recipient. After posting the payment, I received a confirmation that it was received. But after several days of follow up and waiting I got no response and no documents arrived. |

Thank you dear Dolores!!! You helped me greatly.
Mr and Mrs Ellis, professional Canadian family live and work in Nova Gas Inc., Abuya City, Nigeria wrote directly to my e-mail and suggested to be their Aupair, to take care about their 4-years son. They discribed very good conditions of the job and even sent me the contract signed by them. And as you told, they also recommended me the best (due to their words) Travel Agency which should help to arrange all the travel documens. They told me, that it should be their son’s birthday in three weeks and they wanted me to come as soon as possible. They also promised to pay for my Flight Ticket and Visa File, but asked to pay for the Work Permit to that Travel Agency through the Western Union as soon as possible not to waste time. Than I found your complain and the most interesting thing I found out was the name of the person I had to transfer money to, it was John Iroabuchi, complete name of the Agency was NIGERIAN IMMIGRATIONS DEPT, 13 ARIZONA STREET, UMUAHIA, ABIA STATE, NIGERIA, E mail: Nigeria_immigrations_dept@yahoo.com. They asked me to transfer 550$, but when I asked for some explanation from them concerning this all I got only ask to pay the soonest not to waste time.
Besides, with the help of very close people we found a lot of information concerning criminals who run scams this way especialy in Nigeria. After that I got no explenation, this family only disappeared.
Dear Aupairs, please, be careful of such job offers with very high wages, especially from Nigeria, and don’t be lazy to check all the information deeply and completely.
Dear Dolores, thank very much again.
