Complaint   >> Posted: May 01 '06 by Not Happy in New South Wales, Australia
I believe this maybe a scam, as there has been complaints on the scam family page about one VERY simliar to this, proceed with caution, especially since they are offering money up front if this is ment to come in a Cheque then it is most def a scam.......read the complaint section it has plenty of info on scams etc

I recieved an email from the same 'host family'. the first email was exactly the same info as it was on there profile. After replying to the first email I asked a couple of questions including where in Australia I would be located and this is the response that i got:

We are willing to pay you $AUD2500{Australian
dollars} a month if thats okay with you? We only
require you for three days in the week and if you are
willing to move in with us it will be highly
appreciated, if not its also okay. You will not be
required to do any light job aside from taking care of
my dear Tracy.Your experience I am sure will come in
handy. We should be back before the end of next month.
I am willing to pay you $AUD200{Australian dollars} in
advance since you are really eager to start. We do not
mind if you do not stay with us, you choice is our
choice. Just let us know when you will be available to
work so that we can work on a schedule for you.
Remember if you take up the job you will have a toyota
camry car at your disposal fully airconditioned(we
shall even gas it for you) with a well furnished room.
We can send the money to you immediately all you need
to do is to open an account with Common Wealth bank
and my husband will have the $AUD200 wired into your
account as soon as you have it opened. As soon as you
send us your Common Wealth account payment details,we
would send your upfront payment of $100.00
We shall be coming back home next month and may even
pay you for a months charge ahead of time but you will
get to keep the $AUD200 even if we change our mind.
I want to thank you for considering our dear little
Tracy and I know that you two will get along just
fine.
******I then replied to this email and asked them to contact me via phone so that we could discuss everything & this was the response:

It owuld be difficult for me to reach you via pphone
for now,cos I am on board my husband ship.If you want
the job you can let me know.
Mrs Michelle.

***When i responded that I would not need the $200 upfront & could just put that towards my airfare if thats ok. I haven't recieved a reply to that & i highly doubt that i will!!
I am glad that others have posted complaints about this particular 'family'. It all sounded a little too good to be true! BEWARE!
