Hi, my age up here, 40-something, is not true. I'm over 50 now, but I cannot update it somehow.

The type of help I'm looking for relates to my current situation. I'm from Spain but have been living in Czechia for many years and now want to relocate back (probably back). I work on several projects, including a startup that aims to offer online and physical meeting spaces for those willing to make the world more truthful, sustainable, and compassionate. I have a son living in Czechia, in shared custody with his Czech mother. Trying to go through this process is not easy, neither for me nor for my son. The many tasks became somehow overwhelming, provoking anxiety and procrastination and increasing the problem. As I need time to put my life in order, I'm ready to invest in real high value help.

My offer is for an assistant who is reliable, energetic, honest, flexible, calm, non-conflict, empathetic, and hard-working. Should have some communication skills and be ready to learn and help. I will treat you with the utmost kindness, frankness, and respect, and I want to be treated similarly. I'm ready to offer a higher-than-usual payment plus incentives for dedication, performance, and permanence.

You should be available for any task, including shopping, cooking, administrative errands, travel assistance, tutoring my son, driving, cleaning, looking for external professional help, planning schedules, arranging appointments, counseling, coaching, organizing, and project management. The position will be physically demanding sometimes, including housekeeping tasks and traveling; therefore, it is ideal for people with excellent health.

Because of the nature of personal assistance combined with my lifestyle and the type of projects I am involved with, I will require that you are not alien to any of the following: social and environmental awareness, critical thinking, healthy lifestyle (food, exercise), avoiding drugs (smoking and alcohol included).

The hourly payment for your assistance will increase (or decrease) daily depending on working time and performance. This change will cumulate over time. I suggest starting with 24 €/hour. I will ask you to help me for at least 7 hours every working day, but you may decide how much time you want to work, depending on your schedule, sick days, planned holidays, etc. From day one, every day you work over a certain amount of hours (5 hours, for instance), it will increase the hourly rate. There will be a similar decrease if you work less or take a day off.

We will discuss and agree on the initial hourly payment and the formula controlling its change. With an average of 7 hours of daily efficient help and a reasonable number of days off, it should double your initial hourly payment after one year. For my suggested initial 24 €/hour, using such a formula, you will go from around 3600 € the first month to around 7200 €/month after one year. As the increase will be accounted for daily, you will earn 300 € more monthly. For your peace of mind, I offer to pay you as frequently as you want, even daily.

I will put in my documents section several pdf with possible scenarios for six month of work and payments under my proposed formula for calculating the change in pay rate based on worked time, performance and permanence. If you contact me I will send you the original spreadsheet version where you can change the values for worked times and performance to see how it affects the pay rate. Consider that while the pay rate is good and increases over time, it may equally decrease if you keep absenting work. Additionally no work will be remote. Your presence and dedication will be required. I will evaluate distractions (smoking, social messaging…) as both negative performance and not worked time.

Due to my time constraints, I need a freelancer who cares for her own issues, especially her live-out accommodation, residence and work permit, insurance, etc. I will pay, however, for transport when moving and traveling together. We can agree on payment conditions that compensate for your freelancing and reward your commitment, efficiency, and permanence. The high, daily and rising payment is however linked to the freelancing which is non negotiable. You will have to prepare an assistance service contract where I will be your client, not your employer. The contract has to be without any time commitments. It should give me the freedom to exit if I consider your help is not valuable. I will not make any difference if you are a resident of Malaga or from outside EU. I can’t help you with visas and permits or any other paperwork or migration procedure/requirement.

A final note. I fell victim to a couple of scams here. I will refuse to deal with people who ask me to buy a ticket for them to get to my place (or anything else). I offer 1800€/week (after one year of pay rate growth rewarding dedication) to be able to choose serious and committed people.
